Nathan Makarewicz
About the Artist
Makarewicz is a fourth-year medical student at Stanford University. Nathan completed degrees in visual arts, ecology, and evolutionary biology at Princeton University and a graduate public health degree at the University of Utah. He competed as a varsity athlete for both Princeton and Utah. Prior to medical school, he worked as a basic science researcher with Joslin Diabetes Center at Harvard Medical School. Nathan is one of Stanford’s REACH fellows and is currently completing a Master of Science in epidemiology and clinical research in addition to his medical degree.
