The Pegasus Review, the voice of the Pegasus Physician Writers at Stanford, publishes poetry, nonfiction, literary, and artistic works related to medicine and the experience of illness and healing. We accept submissions from our members as well our Stanford and global community.

Submission Guidelines

To understand the type of submissions we publish, please read past issues of The Pegasus Review or the published work of The Pegasus Physician Writers at Stanford. We do not accept simultaneous submissions, previously published work, or work that appeared on a blog or online with over 1,000 unique views.

Patient Privacy Notice

The Pegasus Review honors legal and ethical standards in line with medical and academic journals. All contributions must adhere to the confidentiality guidelines in the Health Information Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and the requirements of the Privacy Rule.

Please submit only work that is original and of your sole authorship or artistic creation. This includes written submissions, images/photography, video, art & other media.

Copyrights revert back to author or artist upon publication; however, The Pegasus Review reserves the right to be credited as first publication for any subsequent reprint.

Fee Notice

The Pegasus Review charges a fee per submission. This fee helps pay for our online and print publication and enables us to effectively curate and communicate with our contributors.
